Under a Construction Management contract, MB Ford Construction, assisted with the design and carried out the construction of approx. 36,000 Sq. Ft. of office space for Canadian Red Cross. The concept included a number of current design elements, a mix of moderate to high end finishes and a complete refit of the major base building elements including HVAC, lighting and finishes. In addition, the nature of the site being national headquarters, the design also included back-up electrical and HVAC systems in key service areas thus impacting the already aggressive schedule. We worked closely with CRC to ensure valued added decisions for the budget conscious client including valued engineering during the tendering process which resulted in savings in excess of $250,000. Despite these restraints, the project was delivered on time and under budget, completed in October 2018.
